My favourites
Here are a number of books that I enjoyed reading. The books in order of personal preference are:
- John Devoldere, ON4UN,
ON4UN’s Low-Band DXing,
ARRL, 5th Edition, 2011
ISBN-13: 978-0872598560 - Alois Krischke, DJ0TR,
(originally by Karl Rothammel, Y21BK),
Rothammels Antennenbuch,
DARC Verlag, 13. Auflage, 2013 - Ham Radio Magazine CD-ROM Set,
CQ Communications, Inc., 1968–1990Albeit not a book, this complete collection of back issues of the extremely popular Ham Radio Magazine beholds a vault of very well written, timeless antenna articles that will make you better understand current antenna design trends. John Devoldere, in his seminal ON4UN’s Low-Band DXing, refers to many of these articles.
William Griffith, VE3WGX, provides the magazine´s by-topic cumulative index on his website. However, if you rather would like to run a text search, you are better off downloading the text-searchable cumulative index.

CQ Communications, Inc., 1996,
ISBN-13: 978-0943016153 - Raymond Mack and Jerry Sevick (W2FMI SK),
