80m ARDF receivers
Dieter Schwider, DF7XU, sold me this PRX80S-kit which is similar to the HRX80 receiver of Hans Reuderink, PA0HRX. Nico H.C.J. Veth, PA0NHC, shares yet another design on his web site.
Attention, owners of a PRX80S or HRX80
According to DF7XU, designer of the PRX80S, the value of C12 should be changed from 10 nF to 100 nF. This will eliminate the repetitive noise that is perceived directing the reception null towards the fox with the sense antenna activated. More modifications were posted by the Norwegian ARDF group.
